Interview conducted for FNN by K. Asay

A little break from the previous interviews, this month we get to know the newest member of FNN, Co-Editor Corie Chamblin!

==================

Welcome to the FNN staff Corie! How long have you been in the fleet?

Hey! I have just reached the one year mark if I’m not mistaken. I love
it, even though I have restarted school and I’m super busy and been
dealing with internet problems. It is nice to have such a fun fleet
and for my first one.

What sims are you on and what characters do you play?

This is my first sim, but I have always been really big into rpg’s and
table top that involves more roll playing then dice, but I still love
the luck of the rice, even if they do try and kill me a lot. My mine
and only character right now is Geneva V’Pau, she is a science officer
on the Hyperion and I love playing her and making her. Even though she
has had a rough life, she shows part of me. Hopefully, I could be as
strong as her at some time.

What made you want to become part of the News Staff?

I have always loved writing and my high school dream career was at one
time to be an editor and even though I’m training to be a biochemist
right now, I still plan to write and edit whenever I can. I decided
that to read the FNN one day, instead of just clicking and deleting or
seeing a wall of text and sighing. I read and realized this was
something I could and would like to do. So, after thinking of it and
making myself realize that even if I was turned down it would be okay.
Glad I convinced myself because even though it is a rough start I’m
getting used to it again.

What would you like to see for the future of FNN?
I hope to just improve and maybe change it so that the layout is
better and looks more amazing and want you to sit down and read and
help support us. I just hope that people will not want to delete us
and really choose to read. It seems to me that is what I would like to
change most.

Extra Note:

I am very glad to be in this position and would like input and help
from the people who read this. Otherwise how would I know what you
guys like and don’t like. I’m also hoping to add some fun things to
this, like awards or something, will take planning, but I hope to get
my ideas started soon and I would love your input! Please help a girl
out and maybe prove how amazing of a fleet I hope I have somewhat seen
so far.
