From time to time, we like to acknowledge various players for their contributions to the game. We cannot hope to capture and recognize all the great work that every player contributes. So if you believe someone is missing, I urge you to contact your game manager to recommend that player for recognition.

On behalf of the captains, I am happy to recognize the following individuals:

For his superb writing, filled with descriptive content that often induces his crew mates to read a second time, and for setting the standard of quality aboard the USS Ariadne, we award Sam Jones the Honour of Excellence.

---
For his excellent support as an Executive Officer and right-hand man, we award Dan Woodward of the USS Pegasus the Captain's Star.

---
For braving the storm and keeping the ship together in a trying time, we award Andrea Mihalyi of the USS Hyperion the Croix D'Guerre.

---
In honor of his two years of managing the USS Bismarck, we promote Scott Guymon to the rank of Commodore.

What can we say about our extraordinary friend, Nathalie Chapman? She has stayed the course with Sixth Fleet through many challenges and in our opinion, represents the best that Star Trek RPGs have to offer. Besides her role as a player and game manager, Nathalie directs our fleet's personnel and makes sure that new recruits find homes in our sims. It's definitely not a glamorous job, and she does it without complaint. She has earned many awards in the past. It isn't the awards that drive her. But nevertheless, we must recognize when individuals give so much of themselves to the fleet.

For her contributions, we award Nathalie the Commander-in-Chief Distinguished Service Order.

One year ago the USS Oberon became the USS Ariadne. This bold move gave Sixth Fleet a new ship class and mission type that has not only enthused and brought closer together its crew, but also proven to be an attractive simulation, popular with new and returning players alike. From weekly updates to the website he maintains to gorgeous shoreleave settings, from creative missions inspired by the best of Trek to his thoughtful handling of players, Mark Hyacinth constantly thrives to renew himself and keep things inspiring.

For his contributions, we award Mark the Sixth Fleet Cluster, our second highest honor.

Mallory Jones - also known as Rialla Blake (USS Ariadne) and Erin Kohl (USS Avalon) - has for many years graced various simulations in the fleet with his inspiration and flair to create lively characters and support a mission. In this instance, although he had announced his retirement in Spring 2013, he remained on the USS Oberon to help with its transition to the USS Ariadne; in spite of busy work hours and personal events, over the USS Ariadne’s first year in existence, he constantly strove to promote interaction between players and to carry on with the mission.

For his contributions, we award Mallory the Starfleet Star, our highest honor.
