In 2009, the movie Star Trek established the destruction of Vulcan early in 2387. Sixth Fleet simulations in their majority decided to remain with the original Trek timeline and therefore with the destruction of Romulus in the wake of the Hobus supernova event.

A tentative date originally set in March 2387 may be moved to June instead once the Fleet's newly-created Committee for Creative Resources (regrouping the former Corps and Bureaus under one heading as of this month) clarifies the fleet's canon timeline. Memory Zeta's feature on the topic (see "Cultures") will be updated accordingly.
