November 9-10
SB418's GM Roy Conklin is awarded the Sixth Fleet Croix D'Guerre upon stepping down. He is replaced by James Lambly as acting CO.

November 10
Command Teams celebrate the addition of a new feature to the Fleet website: online sim reports, finally! This feature was developed by Captain Moritz Kraft, Chief of Fleet Operations. As a reminder, the 'registration' feature should only be used by individuals with official administrative Fleet business. There are no "player" features accessible through this portal.
Eric Robinson steps down as Chief of Personnel Administration and is awarded the Sixth Fleet's Order of Meritorious Service in recognition of his work.
November 20
Nathalie Chapman is appointed as Chief of Personnel Administration. Third time does the charm?

Congratulations to Commander Scott Guymon, former XO and CO of the Dorvan V simulation who is belatedly granted Command School graduation by the Fleet's Chief of Personnel, acting as Command School Dean.

Feb 1
The Q&A period for the DCinC election ends. Voting begins.
Feb 9
DCinC elections: Commodore James Slattery, aka Captain Paul Shepherd and GM of the USS Bismark, is elected the new Deputy Commander-in-Chief. The position comes with a field rank of Admiral.
Captain David Patterson, acting CO of the USS Pegasus replaces him as Advisor for Task Force 2.
March 21
The USS Lancelot's GM, Eric Robinson steps down and is replaced by Reece Savage, former XO of the simulation.
Shannon Largent is appointed as the simulation's XO.
April 5
The USS Vigilant joins Sixth Fleet under the "associate sim" program outlined by the Constitution. The associate program means that the USS Vigilant will be placed in Task Force 4, that exists for the purpose of observing such sims for a period of six months, at the end of which they may become full members of the Fleet.
One month done, only five more to go! Fair is fair: Captain Reeder (Chris) and Commander Shink (Brad), the simulation's command team, got onboard the Senate to observe for six months as well...
April 30
Sixth Fleet's 5th anniversary: the anniversary is traditionally a time for the Commander-in-Chief to bestow on members of the Fleet either Green Level awards (these can only be handed by the CinC or upon a Senate vote), or promotions to the rank of Captain and above. For a full list, we refer you to our previous announcement on FNN.
The Commander-in-Chief, holding the title of Fleet Admiral for the duration of the mandate, may also be promoted one step up from their normal Fleet rank, as was the case this year for Graham Thomson, promoted to the rank of Commodore.

This is the end of our retrospective, bringing us all to speed on Fleet news. Further announcements will be made as they occur.
