USS Hyperion Recognises her Crew
I would like to announce the following:
Ander Shultis, who plays Executive Officer, Lieutenant Blake Cassidy - has been a good rock steady first officer, and for that I am grateful. He has contributed to the last mission, and has helped with its creation. I therefore award him the Decoration of Gallantry - which is awarded to an individual who has continually provided good and interesting opportunities for other posters to become involved in the plot and in the development of their characters. Equally, I promote him to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Nigel Gillson, who plays Chief Medical Officer, Captain Rex Jul - it is obvious that he likes a challenge, and what's more challenging than writing a literal alien in the form of a talking dinosaur with the finest bedside manner in the whole of the fleet. I confirm the position of Second Officer onto him, making him into an official member of the Hyperion Command Team. I also award him the Companion of Honour - which is awarded to an individual who introduced a new character with particular flair and/or overcame challenging initial conditions, such as taking in their stride a mission in full swing or adapting post-hast to the gameverse.
Seth Waite, who plays Assistant Chief of Engineering, Lieutenant Tre'gok - I promote you to Chief Engineer, for your continued support, posting commitment and all round dedication to the sim.
Andrea Mihalyi, who plays an Operations Officer - she come aboard in midst of a joint mission, and jumped straight in with posting and interacting behind the scenes. Her posts and contributions to joint posts have been fun and entertaining, and therefore I'm awarding her the Commendation for Brave Conduct - which is awarded to an individual who, in spite of a challenging role (lesser rank/rate, position, civilian, etc.), consistently made their presence and contribution felt throughout a mission or series of missions. I also award her the role of Chief of Operations. Equally, with the new position in mind, I therefore promote her to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
Congratulations to one and all for their continued dedication and support to the USS Hyperion and to Sixth Fleet.
