Fleet Hall of Remembrance

Section 6 of the Fleet Policies regarding Sixth Fleet's Hall of Fame has been extended to include, alongside the Hall of Honour, a Hall of Remembrance.

The Hall of Remembrance exists specifically to honour the memory of our fallen members.

The updated policy may be viewed in full on Memory Zeta, in the General section.

The Department of Creative Resources is accepting suggestions for any Star Trek themed stories, books, novels and resource material for review. If they are deemed acceptable they may (in whole or in part) be included as Fleet Canon.

USS Stardust: when the legend is home and alive

In January 2387, all Federation media reported Starfleet's long witheld decision to declare the legendary USS Stardust an official casualty of the Cold War with the Romulan Empire. In a striking turn of events, the USS Avalon finally brought home the survivors of the lost starship.

Explosion on Starbase 425

The Federation News Network received copy of a Priority One distress signal from Lieutenant Commander J. Loren Ackerman of the USS Pegasus on behalf of Starbase 425 reporting “catastrophic damage” and calling on all Federation starships in the sector to lend aid.

Starbase 425, nicknamed Olympus Station, is in orbit of the paradise-planet Balkora III near the Federation-Cardassian border. FNN sources on Balkora confirm that Olympus experienced a massive explosion from within. ...

Sixth Fleet Executive Staff Appointments

The following persons were recently appointed:

Capt. Shannon Largent stepped up to replace Cmdre Charles Jenkinson, just retired, as Advisor to Task Force 3 (TFA3).

Capt. Brett Gann accepted the role of Chief of Fleet Communications (CFC).

Cmdre Rick van der Velden accepted the role of Chief of Personnel Administration (CPA), vacated by FAdm. Nathalie Chapman following recent elections.

Starbase 418: change of command

On July 27, 2011 Captain James Lambly stepped down after transferring command to Captain Roy Conklin, now GM of Starbase 418.

Upon retiring, Captain James Lambly was awarded the Sixth Fleet Cluster by FAdm. Nathalie Chapman and Adm. James Slattery.

USS Hyperion: change of command

On July 27, 2011 Commodore Charles Jenkinson stepped down and has been replaced by Commodore Piotr Mierzejewski as GM of the Uss Hyperion. Lt Ander S. has stepped to feel the vacant XO position.

Commodore Charles Jenkinson, upon retiring from simming both as GM and Task Force Advisor (TF3) has been awarded the Sixth Fleet Cluster by FAdm. Nathalie Chapman.
