Switch perspective for First Person Fortnight

Hello fellow roleplayers!

I'm David and I'm writing about an event for roleplayers called First Person Fortnight.

Most groups roleplay in 3rd person, it's a sensible way of writing and the most common way to tell a story. For 2 weeks though, I want to encourage roleplayers to change their perspective to first person.

New DCinC begins his duties in his new office.

Good morning folks,

It has been a week or so since the Sixth Fleet Command Election for the next Deputy Commander in Chief and the winning vote of Commodore Reece Savage. We, at FNN, have been striving on your behalf, as promised, to bring you an interview with the new DCinC, but up until now, he has been quite elusive.
