Sixth Fleet awards commendations for 5 1/2 year anniversary
On behalf of the Sixth Fleet Commander-in-Chief, Fleet Admiral Nathalie Chapman, in consultation with the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, I would like to announce the following awards to deserving members of the Senate on the occasion of our Fleet Five and a Half Year Anniversary.

Sixth Fleet Command Changes
The Fleet had several Command-Level changes for October thus far.
Commander Mallory Jones was appointed XO of the USS Oberon on October 4th.
The next day Commander Eric Robinson stepped down as XO of Starbase 418, and shortly thereafter Captain Roy Conklin was removed from command of the Starbase due to excessive absence. Captain Anthony Wittrock was appointed CO of Starbase 418 on October 12th.

Communication Intercept from USS Oberon to Station Zebra
Answering distress call from freighter Heracles. Warp drive inoperative, impulse systems at fifty percent, numerous injuries to passengers. Dr. Tempest and emergency medical teams have been sent aboard to assist. Lt. Jankowski leading Away Team to assess the full extent of the damage and make repairs. SS Heracles transporting over one hundred passengers to Rachni System on some sort of religious pilgrimage.

The USS Oberon to the rescue of the USS Salk
Oberon’s first mission under former First Officer now Captain Jared Hex ended in success with the rescue of the crew of the Medical Ship Salk. The vessel suffered a catastrophic failure of its Main Computer and strayed into the Draken Nebula. Several injuries were reported along with a number of deaths though Starfleet reports that the death toll would have been higher if not for the efforts of the Oberon. STARFLEET MARINES SUFFER LOSSES IN THE HURUCAN SECTOR.
During a bloody battle on a Rogue Planet passing through the Sigma Librae system, Marines and Officers from the USS Oberon and USS Cambrian have suffered heavy losses at the hands of an unknown foe.
Sources have revealed that the Marines were sent to the planet to investigate a signal that was detected. Arriving on the barren rock they split into teams in an attempt to triangulate the position of the signal. How ...
