Preserver Artifact Found on Balkora III
Recent reports from Starbase 425, in orbit of Balkora III in the Balkora System indicate that a Preserver vault was found in the cellars of a bar in Balta City. Azuma's Bar & Casino was apparently built right on top of the site.

Olympus Bruised but Stable
The office of the commander of Starfleet operations in the Balkora Sector, Vice Admiral Timothy Scott, informed the Federation News Network that Starbase 425, known as Olympus Station, is severely bruised but stable. The admiral credits the gallant efforts of the crew of the USS Pegasus for the ingenuity that saved the starbase from falling out of orbit. A battalion from the Starfleet Corps of Engineers has arrived at the starbase to begin repairs.

Explosion on Starbase 425
The Federation News Network received copy of a Priority One distress signal from Lieutenant Commander J. Loren Ackerman of the USS Pegasus on behalf of Starbase 425 reporting “catastrophic damage” and calling on all Federation starships in the sector to lend aid.
Starbase 425, nicknamed Olympus Station, is in orbit of the paradise-planet Balkora III near the Federation-Cardassian border. FNN sources on Balkora confirm that Olympus experienced a massive explosion from within. ...

First contact goes awry
The USS Pegasus (NCC-53847-E) was returning to Starbase 425 in the distant Balkora system along the Federation-Cardassian border when it received a distress call from another vessel. Responding, the crew of the Pegasus quickly learned that they were making first contact with a species who had just achieved their first warp flight. The Pegasus returned the wayward warp ship and her pilot to their homeworld in the Alpha Theta system.

USS Pegasus recovers abandoned Maquis children
The USS Pegasus, newly under the command of Captain Edward Walsh, discovered a hidden Maquis compound while searching for new Bajoran terrorist group The Children of the Prophets. To their surprise, the compound was home to an undisclosed number of children and teenagers, the abandoned progeny of long deceased Maquis separtists.

It gives me great pleasure to honour the tradition of giving out 'Birthday Presents' to deserving individuals on this, the anniversary of the founding of our fleet.
Without further ado (I've never been that great at speeches) I would like to give some hopefully nice presents to the following very deserving people:
